Yes, happiness does exist in varying degrees from person to person. While it is a chemical reaction, as every other emotion is a chemical reaction, it is real.

Does hapinness change anything? dose it matter?

Yes it exists and Yes it is good, and for me being happy matters. In fact its great.

Yes, it does. I do believe, however, that happiness takes place in moments or quite short periods of time. I've had moments of true happiness...they were just moments, very brief but still I felt what happiness is...or what it is to me.

Very well put. ..|

Happiness is such a personal thing. And, we all are free to pursue it in our own way.

Your statement reminds me of Will Smith's, The Pursuit of Happyness. It actually displayed, and I believe it even stated, that happiness occurs in fleeting moments.

That's what I believe in. That also makes those moments, and happiness itself, even more precious and valuable. Those moments are worth all the trouble we went through to experience a brief moment in time of happiness...in my opinion, it is worth all the dramas and pain.
