I'm not sure that it's possible to form a sense of a man physically with no photo. For example, we don't take any statements to be trustworthy, even after we have photos. But, assuming one believes the photos one is given, even then, it becomes not a "sense" of size but of observed body size, facial expression of confidence, or in the case of a full-body photo, bulge.

That brings up another point (pardon the pun.) A large man with no observable bulge may be discounted, even accused of steroids, when it may either be endowment or just a grower.

I'm skeptical of gaydar and all related lore. We are just close observers, an evolutionary trait in gay culture due to it being taboo and underground. We look for clues.

My question involved meeting and interacting with a man in person, or simply seeing a man in person. It wasn't about a picture, it was about the reality. In my own experience, when I've thought a guy would have a big dick and had the good fortune to actually follow through, the dick has in been big. (This was certainly the case with the man who is now my partner.) Perhaps this has all been nothing more than coincidence, but the guys I assumed would have small dicks most often had small dicks.
