Does it irk you when somebody orders what you are having?

Does it bother you when you go out for a meal (breakfast or lunch or dinner) and your regular dining partner(s) always ask you what you are going to have AND they order exactly what you do?

I find it irksome that people use me to choose what “they” are going to eat. I’ll often ask my dining partner(s) what they are going to have (just in case they found something that sounds better to me, than what I found on the menu). Yet 99% of the time, I order what I want and not what my dining partner(s) is/are having.

Doesn't bother me if someone copies my order and hope others aren't bothered when I order the same thing they are having.

Who freakin' cares? Are you kidding me? You let something like that bother you in the slightest? ...oh brother.

Drives me nuts. How are we going to share if you order the same thing?

I get annoyed with some people when they order the same thing; I usually only make a big deal about it when I'm with my family, as I can get away with being a bit of an unreasonable dick.

My dad has a bad habit of asking what people are having, and then picking something that someone else is going to order. Though, usually, I think he does this just to tick me off as he immediately changes his mind after someone admits that's what they are ordering...

Instead of being offended for no good reason, why don't you take it as a compliment that the individual is deferring to your good taste in food? They may be unsure of the menu and wish to try something you like, or perhaps they enjoy the same kind of food as you.

First world problem.

It's cool with me. I'd just order the same thing or something else that I also want. We will eventually take sample from each other's plate :)

No, doesn't bother me at all. If I'm ordering a certain meal, I'm guessing or assuming (or, sometimes already know) that it's good. Knowing that the other person has the same high probability of a good meal, is a good thing.
