  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Does it make me Über gay that...

I guess the economy isn't affecting the porn industry and you have lots of cash to be spending.

I could never see myself spending that much on shoes or owning that many.

I have these Stephon Marbury basketball sneakers except with a red trimming instead of all white. They were only $15 and I've had them for almost three years. They're great.

I also have these, exact color. They were only 10 bucks cus I got them on sale an an outlet.

The only other shoes I have are work shoes, which I wear to work and dress shoes (black ones and brown ones) which I wear very rarely.

Boots with long ankles are uncomfortable as hell. I can't see how anyone can wear them. They make your legs feel so stiff. You have a bizarre style Jason, no offense. Why would anyone want to wear those cow print things?

They certainly are nice shoes - however, I'm not a shoes person - anything will do for me if it stops my socks from fraying. I can't imagine spending $200 on a pair of shoes - or any item of clothing, really. Except a hat. I do like a nice hat.

i'm sure most of those shoes are just for collecting dust.
only a few of them will be worn regularly .

The best shoes are Mongrel Boots (work shoes).

Sort of undercuts your whole argument there. :) Like saying "It's ridiculous to spend more than $20 for lunch...unless it's a ham sandwich."

I think it only makes of you an urbanite with an acceptable income or credit rate: which to many people amounts to being totally gay, regardless of sexuality.

Ok, some of you are going to have to hand back you gay cards. Sorry, but every self-respecting man should have at least one pair of really nice shoes.

I just happen to respect myself a bit more than most, I guess.

OK, someone HAS to do it, so it might as well be me:

I wear expensive shoes, but they're Eccos, which (quite frankly) look kinda frumpy, but they're oh-so-comfortable and ergonomically correct.

Is it uber-gay to say "oh-so-comfortable"? :D

No, they're not. those are great shoes although it's a really bad cell phone picture of them.

But I'm amazed that it took this long for someone to take the opportunity to say that.
I think nobody said they are not good, or great, but that they are ugly.

These are the most annoying, trendiest shoes I see. Lots of gay guys who are into fashion wear them.

Jason, some of the brown sneakers you have in that pic are OK but the blue shoe laces makes them ugly. I don't like the rest.

err what? People constantly are running around with them for 7+ years ... and they do exist for even longer.
