Today was a great day! My friend and I pretty much spent the entire day together just hanging out...we got some smoothies in the afternoon, later we went out to dinner, and then we came home and spent the night just watching a movie on the couch.

The dinner was perfect...we had an awesome conversation about life, cultural differences, interests, and how's he been treating his friends lately (he has been very moody and non-responsive with his best friends).

With all of this mind, you guys are probably wondering what's the problem...well I think I did something really stupid. Since we were talking about his relationship with his best friends, I made a statement about how if he was girl he would totally fuck this one particular best friend of his. He was totally caught off guard...he paused for a moment and asked me what did I say. So, I repeated what I stated moments ago and explained that I noticed that they have a weird relationship which they are constantly arguing about how they are treating each other and how they can't stand each other sometimes...I said "you guys are basically a couple." He said "I can totally see that...like I know he bugs me sometimes but I love him...it's like in the movies...you can't stand them but you can't live without them." Then, I said "So you admit it you would totally fuck him." He said "Yeah I guess I would."

Now I'm left thinking did I do the right thing...I guess it's cool because he doesn't seem bothered by the idea of having sex with another guy but its his best friend. I should point out that this "best friend" recently got married, and I've noticed that my friend seemed almost annoyed and jealous of his best friend's wife because of all the attention he is giving her. I'm planning to ask him if he truly feels this way the next time we are on the topic. I don't know what to do because it seems like there is potential there for us with his actions but at the same time it seems like I'm in a freakn' love triangle.

Oh! In respect of my theme of smells and odors...we were talking in his room and I stated there is that smell of his again "musky and sweet." He said "It makes sense it's my room...I wouldn't want it to smell like anything else." Then I said "Wouldn't you want your room to smell like a girl has been in here." He said "Eww that's gross! Why?!" I just laughed it off and told him he was weird.

What do guys think? Should I just leave this confuse friend of mine alone and just move on? Any advice would be great. Thank you!!!

I know what I need to do...I'm planning on telling him tonight that I have feelings for him and see where it goes from there. If he feels the same that we would be awesome but if not then I hope it doesn't change our friendship.
