I voted yes (limit for everybody) but I actually have a much more brilliant idea.

No limit whatsoever on the number of threads that one and the same person can start, but only the first thread he starts on any given day can appear on the first page. Howzat?

This may help interesting threads from being drowned by the verbal vomit of a few overactive users like Cormac.

I onlt once checked out Taralynn's ramblings I am done with them so move on!

And by the sisterhood as well.

Yesterday after work I drove for over an hour to meet up with an old friend from college. When I got back home last night, before bed I opened up hot topics and holy moly the entire front page was dominated by 2 people.

What do you guys do to have so much free time?

I would hate to see that happen. Some days before the onslaught from Taralynn we would set around and hope that someone would come up with an idea for a good thread.
I love Cormacs threads, yours might piss me off but I don't want a limit on you.

I suppose the proper answer would be for the mods. to merge repetitive threads as they have always done. I seem to recall a few months ago when Taralyn complained that his threads had to be approved before being posted. Some thought it was terrible and said it should not be that way and the mods. lifted the restriction.
How do we like it now?

Exactly. I've said it before when someone attacks Telly. But at least he keeps it to 1 or 2 threads every couple of days and he let's the thread die when it runs its course.

Some sort of lock on how many you can post in an hour say might help out a bit. He would still spam them in, but it might give other people the chance to get something going.

Personally I'd merge them all, and let him fight with everyone in one place. It doesn't really matter whether the thread flows in a normal order as they only exist for him to tell us we're all wrong.

Unfortunately I think he would still make other threads outside of the ones that got merged.

Yes sadly i got conned into speaking up for him, sorry MODS.

That's where the difficulty arises in this case. The topics are all different, but the discussions seem to be irrelevant. The reasons for posting them are the same.

No limit, just control the trolls. Earlier this week he bumped over 20 of his old threads with just dots so nothing but his threads would be visible on the front page. If that's not trolling I don't know what it is
