i've been noticing the high anomosity around here for a long time. i used to come here for some laughs and fun. things change in life. maybe we do need a good flushing!
 
It has become something of the norm, it seems.

But, whatever the reason I was always under the impression that the reason we gather at JUB in the first place is to escape the never-ending judgements of straight society, if only for a few precious moments.

I could easily take this time to remind the bitchy naysayers that there is a large segment of society that would think far less of you if they even knew you were a member of a gay message board.

Perhaps we should take the common ground that we all come from as a starting point for acceptance and understanding, not a place for fags endlessly sniping at one another with no end in sight.

but i have to say that with your last one? we know who the trolls are. at this point i'm all for showing them the door. if you can't play well with others...
 
Obviously there are those members who seem to get the backs up of others. So what do you all do? You react the same way; get mean, say what you think of them, justify yourselves as strongly as possible. Subsequently "Hot Topics" is full of posts expressing what you think of a previous poster and his comments about you.

There is a simple solution. When you want to me mean do it through "comments" rather than replying in the thread.

But of course not many of you can do this in private wanting to show that you are capable of fighting back in public.
