Does large equipment scare you?

I made a trip to my son's place of employment earlier, they are "fixing" the roads and there where large trucks and all sorts of large equipment on both sides of me and my little PT Cruiser.
When I saw my son I told him that the large equipment was intimidating and that I felt like I was back in the locker room, we both had a good laugh at that.

I've driven a Bobcat, it's a lot of fun but the only thing I found intimidating is how easy it is to tip and roll over, like if you go too quickly up a hill or something... but they're designed to protect you if that happens so it's no big deal. You can then use the grapple or whatever attachment there is to push the Bobcat back upright. Hell, As for big trucks... man, you feel like king of the road! You ever wonder why guys in 1 tons drive like assholes? Well, can you blame them? :-)... I drive a classic car and it's a total land yacht, so I'm used to manoeuvring a large vehicle. I find small cars intimidating actually, because you feel like an ant in an elephant stampede, and the other drivers don't respect a smaller vehicles like they do larger ones.
 
I love then both! I drive a tractor trailer for a living and my husband has some fairly large equipment too!!

But a small car is much easier to park and drive in narrow roads, and usually not expensive. I drive from a small town with alternating one-way alleys to a bigger town with many vehicles and the free parking lots are often full. Not to mention people who park slightly sideways or those who park too close to my door and I have a hard time getting inside :lol:

I don't like those that are too small like this though:

Discovery Channel used to broadcast wonderful programmes at one time, and a few of them dealt with big trucks like the mining trucks we posted. If I remember correctly, one tire alone cost $30,000 at that time.

I'm a top, so large equipment doesn't frighten me. My general belief is that "the bigger the better", although there's no minimum requirement in the gargoyle's book. It's about on a level of "it'd be nice if you had a really nice bedroom" - I've got no trouble having sex in a trailer home if that's where you live. :)
