Communicate, if you have been friends for 2 years you should be able to talk about stuff like this, especially if it is going to ruin your friendship if you don't
 
I'm planning on hanging out with him sometime next week. Any tips on what we should do/talk about? I want to have a good day with him first then slowly get into or feelings.. Help!
 
If he's closeted, and you're closeted, and you've never talked about "that stuff we did", your best bet is to not talk about it, and simply maneuver to get him alone so you can do it again. If that's not possible, or if you do want to start talking about it, I'd confront it head on. "Look, this is going to be kind of awkward, but let me be forward about this. I really liked fooling around with you, and I'd love to do it again."

The problem here is that you're going into this with an agenda to pick up things where they left off - drunk, in bed, naked and giving each other head. So, these preconceived notions about talking about feelings and other such things are your agenda, not his.

The message that he's been sending you is that- for whatever reason- he's not wanting to pick things up where they stopped.

The only reasonable agenda for you to have is to recover the friendship. If something else comes of it- so be it- but don't get your hopes up and don't waste too much time nor effort on it.
