If it had a mouth and gives oral, I'd say yes.
My computing history went back to an old 286. Then I used one at university which was linked up to a network. My old 286 ran several times faster not being dragged down by the network (1993 that was, when the first 386 came out, or was that 486, I'm so old I'm going senile now). So, no. No modern computer sucks, IMO.

Your system is almost exactly the same as mine. I upped the memory to 3Gigs and it is really fast. That being said, why do I have the desire to buy a new one? Dell has a new system with a very small tower that could sit on the desk and I want it so bad. Yet this system is about two years old and works well. I guess I'm a new tech junkie, when something better comes out I want it.

Your computer is fine.... You may want to consider boosting the RAM a bit if you plan to download movies.
