Ok all you Canadians, the curling has been going on and on and on......

Does it ever stop?

Please God, tell me it stops.

More curling means more time for advertising.

ok Peloso, slowly back away from the keyboard and have a nice cup of chamomile tea and a xanax.

I have to say that if it involves a broom, is it really a sport.

They've got a gap to fill. Men's hockey will be quite dull this Olympics. With many games rescheduled due to COVID, the NHL chose not to take an Olympic break. So North American and many European pros will not go to Beijing. The KHL, Russia's pro league, is taking a break and many of their players are in Beijing.

The good thing? There will be world-class hockey at the Olympics, but it will be women's hockey. It's about time the sport gets the attention it deserves.

And...Team USA men's hockey, consisting mostly of college players, has an openly gay team member this year.

It depends upon the game you're watching. Curling is played in 'ends', usually 8 or 10 ends. If there is a tie at the finish, extra ends are played to break the tie.

Eight-end games generally last about 2 1/2 hours. Ten-end games go for about 3 hours.

Mixed Doubles are 5 ends and are short games.

Skins games are set. There are no extra ends. It's all about points.

I assume you're watching the Olympics. They should be 10-end games.

The ladies came on to play hockey and bumped the curling out of the blue circle. Thad was right.

How hot is that gay hockey player? We have no ice that isn't in margaritas, so hockey is thin on the ground around here.

I will say that it would be a lot more interesting if that Italian guy was shirtless,

Hockey and curling are not played in the same rinks. Hockey ice and curling ice are incompatible. You can't skate on curling ice and you can't curl on hockey ice.

And please forgive me. I didn't realize Alex Carpenter, of USA hockey...wasn't a guy. Well, can you blame me?

With all the housekeeping I do and swiffering and mopping I think I'd be a great curling player!

fuck you all  I LOVE curling :gogirl:

him on the left.

^ He has the most amazing eyes. And I love how they say 'barrier'. Too bad they're not allowed to curl in kilts.
