Using other people's pix as your own is a deplorable action to the person to stole the picture from, and to the person you're trying to fool.

The more people call them on their BS, the less likely they'll be to do it.

Hiding behind the anonymity of a screen doesn't give you the right to hurt people who are attached at the other end.
