Does time travel exist?

Only as a result of enormous speeds, and even then it can barely be measured. However, common time travel as we imagine it is not possible. Stephen Hawking has proved that.

^ Everybody who sits on their backside does that. Travelling through time happens to every living being. Try sitting on your ass and travelling to 2044 and tell us which country wins the most gold medals in the Summer Olympics. Then we'll talk.

I never actually said anything about being able to travel back.

Time travelers are coming out? Don't you mean crackpots are coming out?

I think there are alot of things we don't understand yet....

This may or may not be one of those things....I don't know the answer.

Who'd be foolish enough to doubt it.

There is transcendence, but not in the physical sense.

And, of course, time can stand still, which is in the same bucket as time travel. Just queue up at the DMV office or get on hold for cable or internet cancellation.

Actually I don't believe in time. I think it is just a mental construct that human beings (and probably some other more advanced creatures) came up to make sens of a world where ever little item down to the sub-atomic level is in a state of constant change.
