Does your bed have a bed skirt?

I think a bed looks unfinished without it, sort of industrial. What do you think?

(By the way, my boyfriend says a bed skirt is sooooo gay. Do you think it is?)

Same here as far as the platform bed. Besides, they're frilly and I detest frilly things, so there.

Yes I do. It's purple satin like my swag and jabots but it is box pleated so it doesnt look so gay. Meh, I had some fabric left over and didn't want to waste it

It's still called a headboard and a footboard.

Just like a 'threshold' no longer holds thresh in the house but it's still called that.

If you have a wrought iron bed or beds with posts use a bedskirt that has slits at the corners to make fitting easier..

Use thicker material bedskirts to have them hold their shape longer..

Only buy lined bedskirts for light and pastel colors to keep light from shining through the bottom of your bed.

OK Vanman, you are right. I do like that one although having a platform and couldn't use it. I stand corrected. I've only seen frilly ones.

I have never seen one of these in my life. Everyone uses a bed frame I don't even think they sell bed skirts here in stores. Maybe it's an American thing?
