I doubt that either of my bosses would care. They're all pretty relaxed about that kind of thing.

The only way I can dress up on Halloween is to wear a suit and tie.

Will my company allow drag on Halloween???

I don't know... but I can find out!

My company doesn't allow people to dress as anything :(

My company allows people to dress up. They will allow drag. The hot guy I work with did for Holloween. He even did at his wedding. Makes me wonder if he swings both ways.

I have a tradition of drag on Halloween. Five years ago, when they told me they were having a Halloween party at work, all I could do was shake my head. I showed up as Lady Godiva that year, and everyone loved it. Over the years, everyone looked forward to my costume. One year, my secretary very hesitantly talked to me about her plans for the party. It took her quite a while to tell me that she wanted to do Sonny & Cher. She is much shorter than me, and it was a great costume and gender f@%k! Unfortunately, people have slowly lost interest, so we're not doing anything this year. All I can say is go for it! Keep it funny drag, and enjoy yourself!!

Former coworkers and bosses have encouraged Miss Marlénè to put in an appearance at the office, especially on Halloween. I doubt my current place of temping would like it, I'm doing reception and switchboard for a branch office of a major corporation (I finally get to wear my ties!) Anything more outré than a funny hat or a jack-o'-lantern sweater would probably be frowned upon.

I can't imagine working an eight-hour day in full drag. Maybe when I was younger and the drag wasn't so complicated (a little lipstick and some heels were all I needed at twenty-two, I was so pretty already)...but nowadays? With the corset and the wig and the inch-thick base? Oh, no, Mother's not up for it.

I've never worn a costume to work on Halloween, anyway. It always struck me as undignified.

My company wouldn't care in the slightest.

The ribbing I'd get from my coworkers, though ...

But maybe I'd finally get to kiss the cute ones! (!)

I've had the chance three times to dress drag: The first was when I was in high school; I dressed like a young lady and at least six guys tried to pick me up at the party ... until they found out who it was ... all but one backed off and he said that lips were lips and hands were hands so he stayed the night at my house ...
Several years later , I hosted a Halloween Party for my employees at the store where I was an associate manager ... I dressed in drag and ended up going home with a young manager in trainning ... I won't tell what I "Trained' him to do that night ....
Here is the best one: I dressed up in drag for a CHURCH Halloween Party. I was the Associate Pastor and a Senior Board Member at the time. The Head Pastor (a lady) helped make my "Lady of the Evening" Dress complete with a slit up the sides and a matching garter . Several of my son's friends ranging in age 16 - 24 hit on me .. one guy who was 19 kept coming back several times .. even after he'd been told just who I was . Well; he ask for it , so I took him home ... we were together for about a year ... lol ...

we're not dressing up at Fratmen... there's two or three of us in the office, and that's just not enough for a party.

but the Fratmen are going to be dressing up on Fratpad. And yes, one of them will be in Drag.

go figure.

All of my guys are pretty much free to do as they please, within the basic limits of good taste. So, yeah, nothing against drag.

I am not into that at all, so I guess, it is just like any other day: smart-casual...

It would be wildly appropriate for me to tell a family that their loved one has passed away on ITU whilst dressed as Franken Furter. It's one of those little things that the GMC wouldn't look too kindly on. :)

My company ( IT ) wants all of us to be " part of a team," if e dress up ... 1 pound if not 2 pound :(.... there is not much fun.. and is all a bit to " clicky for me "
