Does your local grocery store make anything you like you can only get there?

My local Winco Foods Deli department makes a Krab Salad I love. It is made in house and I can only get it at their stores.

Also they use to make a chicken salad pita sandwich I use to buy all the time for lunch, but they stopped making them.

No, not really.

Grocery stores generally tend not to have much that we would go out of our way to get, although we do have a food store that makes its own Sushi fresh.

In Spain I live in Valencia, Spain we have supermarkets that are as large as a Costco in the states. If you can not find it there it does not exist! It may not e premade but everything you need is there.

A regional chain here called Ingles make a chicken salad with grapes and peacans in their deli that's better than homemade. It's also $6.99 a pound.

The local store where I grew up, and I still visit occasionally, makes the best potato wedges I've ever had.
They aren't like other stores that batter them in waaaay too much seasoning and fry them. Instead they take a large baked potato and cut it in half lengthwise, then cut the halves lengthwise again so you have 4 large, long potato wedges, unlike the bite-size ones other stores make. Then they very lightly batter them and fry them for a minute or two. The only seasoning they add is a bit of salt and pepper.

That sounds good.

Not really a supermarket, but the Puerto Rican market downtown has a lot of good food that we get quite often.

They don't make them themselves but every Saturday the local corner shop gets a huge batch of bridies, sausage rolls, all sorts of pies, all great stuff but you have to be up before 10 to beat the rush.

I buy onion rings, french fries and potato skins (frozen) at Gordon Food Supply. Much better quality than the super market sells.
