The guy i am messing with thinks it weird my penis lays downward in my boxer briefs. We googled it and it says guys do it either way which ever is comfortable. He still makes jokes and says all the guys hes been with and at the gym lay their upward. How many of you guys lay it up or naturally downward?
 
Up. It feels more natural that way.

I don't understand ... no matter how I lay mine, it always goes where it (and gravity) dictate (pardon the pun).

Maybe I need some pictures to help me visualize this. ;)
 
I don't lay it . . . it lays itself downward. But even if I positioned it upward it would fall back down, assuming I weren't in a turgid state. I suppose lying horizontally it goes other directions.
 
Guess I shouldn't put naturally downward cause naturally would be how ever it hangs. Whenever he's naked it just hangs downward. But when he has boxer briefs, boxers, or even free balling in his gym shorts he always puts it upward and seems to stay there no matter what position he is in, standing or laying down.
 
Mine is downward. I find it odd that some people have it upward. If you look at underwear, it's made to have the bulge forwards and down. You would have to pull your underwear naturally high to have your dick upwards in them.
 
I freeball all the time and have never been able to keep it pointing upward...gravity does the rest. So I hang down.
 
When I was a lad, I wore briefs and my dick always pointed up. But, after puberty, gravity took hold and it naturally hung down. Now that I freeball all the time, it surely hangs down. I have no idea how someone who wears boxers or freeballs could possibly keep it pointed up, unless it was hard.

As to speedos, I've seen guys wear it both ways. I never knew which was considered the correct way.
 
I wear briefs, and I position my penis in the "up" position. Gravity then pulls it down a bit towards the left or right - but more often to the right than to the left.
 
Even naked, my dick does not hang straight down, he tends to stick out. So, when I pull up my underwear, it seems natural for him to point up and he stays there. I don't wear boxers, except to sleep in, so maybe I get better support from what I normally wear. Forcing him down does not fee comfortable to me. If you look at pics of guys in underwear or speedos, you will notice some guys pointing up. So, I can't be the only one.

I am confused as well because mine has always pointed up when I wear briefs. But now all this sexy underwear, like at Undergear, etc., is obviously intended to be worn with the penis pointing down. I don't find that comfortable at all.

But my question for you guys who do point it down: what do you do when you get a hard on? If it's already pointing up like mine does, it's no big deal. But if it's pointing down, especially in these little tight slutty undies, where does your boner go???
 
downwards mainly... unless feeling slutty ;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one interested in this. Mine always just hangs down its not uncomfortable when I tried laying it up, it just doesn't stay that way. But when I'm hard it sticks up or can point it up to my stomach(if thats how to describe it).
 
Down is normal, as you can see, when it's up it generally pops out the top of underwear...obviously not normal, and underwear is made for it to hang down. If I get a boner I can manage with pushing it sideways, or just control myself and make it soft.
 
I'm up and too the side in regular briefs, out and down in really pouchy briefs - till I get hard, then up and to the side at a diagonal. I have big balls so they take up a lot of room below in briefs
