This little cutie reminds me of my OWN "favourite little dude" - DIDJ - (an Australian Silky Terrier) the name short for didgeridoo

Here he is with VINNIE (the Australian Cattle Dog) and FIONNLAGH (the Scottish White West Highland Terrier)

DIDJ literally "died in my arms" as I was giving him mouth-to-mouth in a freak incident, choking on his daily chicken neck - he'd been enjoying every day in his 12 years
It's been nearly 5 years, now - but it still as raw, if it were yesterday, some days
He'll ALWAYS remain my favourite - of any dog I've had - since I was a kid

Vinnie came to live with us on the sudden death of my best "straight mate" from interstate
He was an "old boy" when he came here - and lived out his days in all the wild open spaces most cattle dogs would only ever dream of

FIONNLAGH is still with us - older and grumpier - and has a new "best buddy" - BURNHAM - a Standard Australian Terrier

Both on guard duty, when the property is under attack, from kangaroos

Thanks for sharing Daylesford ~
