I have a liver-coloured flatcoated retriever. He's such a gentle, handsome fellow. I'm so content when I'm walking over the country fields near my home with him trotting along by my side.

We had two Chow Chows. We trained them from the time they were born to be around other people as they tend to be one person dogs. One of them didn't want to be around anyone but us - the other was overly friendly to everyone. When Ms Friendly died - it was too much for me- I loved her so much. I can't bring myself to get another dog now.

I love all animals but especially dogs (and elephants). I say alot that the only reason I am on FB is for the animal videos - and that is the truth.
