If you sleep walk/do things in your sleep AND you lived in a dorm, how did you make sure you didn't go wandering the halls at night? I haven't walked in my sleep in a long time, but I do things like take off my shirt, open windows, organize lotion bottles, and scribble with pencils. I *think* it only happens when I haven't been sleeping well/am stressed.

thank you!

If you have your own room lock your door at night?

Or you could always get someone to chain you up before you sleep :)

I think you need the advice of a sleep specialist.

I am known to carry a shoe to the top of the stairs and start giggling my ass off... Luckily I cant figure out locks in that state so I kept the dorm door locked.

I've never been a sleep walker, as far as I know. However, my sister has, though I don't know if she still is.

One night, Mom found her at the top of stairs, ready to go down. When Mom asked what she was doing, she said she was going to fill the pool. The only thing was, we didn't have a pool! #-o

Are you, at all, aware of what you're doing, like in a dream, when you are sleep "walking"? Or ... is it "evidence" that you find the next day, that proves that you've been "active" while sleeping? Are you taking any sleep meds??

Have you tried figuring out what might be stressing you? Have you tried anything like a warm drink, milk/tea, or even a touch of alcohol, before going to bed? Maybe some pre-sleep meditation?

All I can really say, if you're taking your clothes off, while sleeping, I wish I was your roommate!! (!)

O.K.! I know! ... :slap:

Of course, no matter what ...

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz ;)

I don't think I do. I know I used to when I was a kid because my Mum told me but now there is no way of knowing.

Wen i was in uni dorms, our doors had latches that locked automatically. twice i woke up on the opposite side of the door in the hallway, having locked myself out! from then on i slept with my room key around my neck on a lanyard. Not very fun!!

Interesting. I'd love to know what causes this.

I've left the house once, walked 2 houses down to a friend

I went into my roommate's bathroom and apparently just sat there until he turned the light on, I laughed and left.

I've searched around the house for "my water pipe" (I don't smoke pot, never have so no idea where the hell that one came from).

I have initated sex with my boyfriend multiple times only to wake up during (top and bottom lol)

I've had complete conversations, sitting up in bed with "someone" (I never remember any of these)

And, most dangerously, got into the pool walked around a bit and got back out

I only have flashes of these events and only after someone has woken me up or addressed me in some way, then I always just go back to bed. They always say I've definitely not been "me" but like I was dazed out.
