I have done it, but I think for the most part its wishful thinking. Not because I have delusions about going over to Hollywood and falling in love with them, but just because if there could be a really hot famous guy out there who openly comes out as gay, then it might give the little boost of help loads more guys need to do the same

I think 'coming out' is a totally personal decision and no one is obliged...Even if it might help the cause. That said, I'd rather closeted celebrities just said "no comment" rather than go around lying about it. I know a very prominent English footballer who is totally on the down-low and I can certainly see why he'd stay that way until he retires.

I think anyone who would out a celebrity against their will is degenerate scum. Celebrities don't owe us anything, including insight into their personal lives.
 
I think your right. Someone should never out anyone else if it is against the persons wishes. It's like blabbing someones secrets in public. Only the person themself should come out, if they want to.
 
Some people enjoy talking about whether or not their favorite celebrity is gay. It's wishful thinking, but it's also a lot of fun. Sometimes I like to join in the gossip.
 
It's a well known fact that a great majority ( not all) of men who chose to be in "show bussness" are gay or bi . And if an actor is gay how would we know ,because what do actors do? they act .
