Don't Miss Me Too Much

I will leave the critical and just go with

Have Fun!

I have been spending every weekend at the Outer banks in North Carolina. The only gay guy I know of there is my Husband and i like it that way. Of course then there is Debbie. A new lesbian friend who married a gay man and has children to prove it. My newest bestest friend Debbie also has grand kids and something about tossing a frisbee with a four year old or building a sand castle (but for bugs not people) - is relaxing. If DebDeb was 10 years younger and interested I might have a shot at a son from my own lineage. Now whether James and I find a child to raise through adoption or a surrogate I definately want a full family.

I digress. On vacations:

I never liked P Town mostly because I like being surrounded by young hot guys versus being the chicken in the soup bowl.

I do love Mirabar in Provi but even that club scene is getting old and all the chicken has turned into old hens.

New orleans is the stuff and I will even go during Southern Decadance. I never used to dig the super hard core leather types and still dont sexually but after last year when an Australian Leatherette when ask by my 60yo mother why he had a leather strap on his arm and he said "Cause I'm a bottom" and to her strange look proceeded to tell her what that means............ Somethings you cant buy!

Another favorite summer destination is the Finger lakes in Up-State NY. I cant explain the serenity, the people, the water sports (not that kind you perv).......it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. (and only like that for like a month before it snows again)

Anyways my goal is to one day sleep amongst the stars in yellowstone. Something magical about rugged unbroken land and no peoples.....except James and my few doggies. Add to that sailing around the warmer parts of the planet when i retire. Two small but awesome goals.....

Anyways i have rambled enough. Some of my favorite places Chance.

Enjoy yours.

lol, I'm just saying I had a great vacation this past summer but didn't have to announce it. Everybody was going to survive if I stopped posting for 10 days, hehe. And the part about everyone jumping on you and wanting you to leave is a bit egotistical.

I nodded in agreement.

I'm guessin everyone did just fine - and "survived" - never thought they wouldn't ;)

and if u didn't wanna "announce" ur vaca - cool

not sure about the "everyone jumpin on ............"

but whatever

good to be back

or is it ok to "announce" that ?

I'm glad to see you back (*8*)

Doesn't seem like it. Just seems to be a purposeless thread so some complete and total stranger who somehow happens to be a mod with a crazy high post count and a join date way before me can toss his salad. This thread is like some kind of phantom zone... so maybe it should be in Hot Topics?

see usually when i see a purposeless thread i ...............

don't comment on it several times ;)

repeating my point

that would be YOU [-X

and don't knock Hot Topics - u should try it actually - might "round u out"

broaden u

think of it as "feeding ur head"

one place and only one place tends to ......... dull the senses

and dull the posts actually

And don't forget his crazy hot avatar and siggy! :D But, you're right. . . who the hell was that masked man?

You weren't even gone. You were still posting here while on your vacation. :p

ur like the kid in school who always states the obvious - thinking ur saying something people don't know

don't be that kid ;)

^ Oh no, people know. I just didn't think you did since you had to "announce" it. ;)

But yet, you decided to post in it anyway?

I like to toss salad, yum, and I like to get my salad tossed too! :p

What I find ironic about this thread, isn't that Chance took a vacation while still checking in, is that if you look at the number of posts his threads usually generate, regardless of how benign they may appear, they usually get the most responses. ;)

Why is that?

It's not his fault. [-X

Btw, who's the "mod with a crazy high post count?"

As a Mod I could be a dick and move this thread to Fun & Games, but I honestly don't believe that Chance would mind too much.

If I moved it to Hot Topics it would be hijacked in no time, and since you don't post there, what would be the fun in that?

(*8*)

*sorry, maxed out on smilies*

It's been some years since I've been to Provincetown. I was there with a gay comedy troupe, and we performed at a bar/coffehouse/restaurant about a block off the main drag; I remember the restaurant was downstairs, the coffeehouse/bar/performance space was upstairs, it was just a few steps away from the Cumberland Farms convenience store, and there was a wonderful lesbian from Australia named "Tracy" working there.

P-town is a magical place; I need to take my hubby there.

In your estimation, Chance...has the town been "Disneyfied," as Key West was some years back?

i think it is disneyfied - not sure when it was diff

tshirts shops - trinkets, etc.

str8 boys and girls doing laps on commercial st

wish i coulda seen ur comedy bit - that woulda been fun :D

to me the primary good thing about PTown is u know ur not alone

but sometimes u wish u were

Gee why would someone, who trolls and shills for an anti-gay candidate on a gay website, generate a lot of responses? I wonder. LOL.

so there's only one candidate to consider much less vote for

i see

just pull the JUB lever for ........ THE CHOSEN ONE

is that how it works?

and i don't see how supporting and posting on JMac's virtues, while also recognizing some of his failings, constitutes trolling or shilling - given the nauseating amount of BO worship here ............ let's just call it "equal" time - if 15% vs 85% constitutes equal

but i guess if u have the single mindset as outlined above "ALL GAYS MUST BE FOR THE CHOSEN ONE" ............. well u would think that

but that would be YOUR problem

you suck Obama's cock 24/7 and pretend that his "experience" or lack thereof is somehow not an issue - that his flip flops on key issues is somehow not an issue - that his naivete with regard to foreign policy matters is somehow not an issue

whatever

free country my man

last i looked anyway

as for my dear friend IC - i want to congratulate u on ur new and improved avatar - but especially on finally "coming out of the closet" and saying what's on ur mind - musta been tough holding back all this time ;) - u typing "dumbass" - and "egomaniac" now that musta made u shake + tremble - get it out of ur system IC - and my services r free - no charge - feel better ?

gotta go feed my "egomanical" ego - cya

Look at the number of your threads that have petered out or come to an abrupt end when someone provides or lists something of substance rebutting your support of McCain (or of Bill O'Reilly for that matter).

Or look at a thread like your "John McCain: The Only Great Man", which is just a mouthpiece for a neocon booby, who thought not supporting the Iraq war was anit-Semitic.

It's one thing to say that you support McCain, despite his shortcomings and anti-gay positions. It's quite another to ignore the substance of any criticisms of him and twirl any neocon baton in his support that comes your way. LOL.

I certainly don't. But how is it that you think you see that in relation to Obama, but don't see it with McCain. McCain's "experience" is questionable to say the least and is more than diminished by his angry and unpredictable character. Is he pro-Russia or against Russia? Who knows? He's taken both positions. His flip flops are legion and have been amply listed here. And his cowboy naivete on foreign affairs is even more dangerous that Bush's.

free country my man

No one said it wasn't. But just as you're free to promote your dickish opinions so people are free to call you on them. LOL.

Petered out? don't be talking about ur lack of sexual prowess on CE+P - there's another section for that ;)

Bill O'Reilly? he gets mentioned very rarely here - me thinks ur going off on one lame tangent

the only great man is simply a piece done by a great writer - who has the "courage" to be one of 2 conservative voices in the NY Times - his name is David Brooks - i imagine u have never read him and have never seen him on TV - and if u did see him, u didn't listen - i imagine that based on ur posting examples

the piece is about him as a person not as a president - and does not even suggest he is a better choice for pres than THE CHOSEN ONE

u and others of course used the thread to bash McCain on issues u don't agree with him on and/or misrepresent his positions - and not address the qualities that makes him great, per the author

par for the course spensed

I certainly don't. But how is it that you think you see that in relation to Obama, but don't see it with McCain. yes u do blow BO with regularity - i will give u some credit though - u blow him less than some other regs - u spend more time castigating McCain for not supporting ur right to marry (god help whoever that is ;))

McCain's experience is documented - and even reasonable BO supporters acknowldege this - "is there a reasonable BO supporter in the house???"

No one said it wasn't. But just as you're free to promote your dickish opinions so people are free to call you on them. LOL.

"dickish" opinions? - yikes - another slip there - guessing it's freudian - maybe not - yes i am free to promote my opinions - it is the MINORITY opinion - and so in a weird way ..................... i am just like THE CHOSEN ONE - how ironic - and silly

i love responding to ur responses so keep it coming spensed - remember "A Few Good Men" - when Tom Cruise (looking fine) has Jack Nicholson on the stand and Jack says something to the effect "tell me u have more than a flight plan ..........."

well - i think u know what i mean

^ Why even bother with the same ol' yada yada?

The only thing David Brooks has got going for him is that he, unlke you, thinks that gay marriage is an issue worth fighting for.

Other than that, most times I've seen or read him, he comes across as a right wing ideologue, who has to keep apologizing for his sloppiness and extreme opinions.

Maybe he isn't the most extreme neocon out there, but's that's hardly a recommendation to have any undiscounted respect for his pro-McCain propaganda.

If you start a thread that tells us not to miss you too much, you might at least have done the decent thing and given us a good long time to miss you. LOL.

what did i tell u about the use of the LOL????

actually this placement is not too bad

cept i can't picture u LOL'ing - in REAL life

i will take "he's not the most extreme neocon .........." as a small victory and stop ;)

and like i said - and he writes - he likes Obama - and supported him during the Rev Wright dustup and has a relationship with him - and respects him greatly - at his Q+A with young cons conference he stood up for Obama as well

sooooooooo

he's open minded

how bout u?

i will take "he's not the most extreme neocon .........." as a small victory and stop ;)

Take it any which way you will, it's still no reason to swallow what he has to say about McCain. LOL.
