So i was at a party on thursday night and i saw this hot guy and i could not stop checking him out its like my gaze froze on him.

The thing is i did not know that while i was staring at this hot guy another guy was observing me.

He came up to me from behind tapped me on my shoulder and whispered in my ear" He is hot but dont make it so obvious". At first i was freaked out that i got caught.

We got to talking and we became friends lol but just be careful when you are checking out guys because you never know who is checking you out.

Good story...! I think that's probably happened to many of us--- we just didn't know we'd been caught!

You know, you hear everyone coming out say that they are the straightest looking and acting guy Ever and that no one knows they are gay.

I thought the same thing before I came out. But I stared an awful lot and I remember getting caught a few times.

Once was in high school when myself and a few guys were waiting for a ride home. I wandered over the the glass door to the gym and there inside were some seniors playing B-ball with their shirts off. OMG! I was in heaven, finally seeing them like this, their beautiful sexy bodies moving around the court. I was mesmerized.

One of my friends came over and, somehow, picked up on the fact that I wasn't watching the game (perhaps because they took breaks and I kept staring), and said "I know what you're staring at.". Which freaked me out and caused me to be more careful in the future.

I always had the feeling afterwords that he thought I was gay. Which, of course, I wouldn't even admit to myself.

What I'm trying to say, I guess, is that we aren't as straight acting as we think.

Peoples body language is the biggest give away of their true feelings...

Learn what they mean and you can suss people out very easily...

I got caught checking out a guys package recently. Very impressive bulge.

He walked up to me and asked "What are you looking at!"

I just whispered "I think your fly is undone mate, I was just trying to clue you in"

Nice save I thought...still have all my teeth.

I was in a shopping mall recently and apparently I stared at a guy a wee bit too long. As he passed by me he said to his girlfriend but loud enough for me to hear "fucking faggot."..|

ouch ^ that must have hurt but on the bright side at least it made you stop staring

That guy at the mall's response just seems insecure. I catch guys AND girls sneaking glances at me all the time (though girls usually feel free to stare a little longer), just as I subtly check out all guys and girls that I pass by. And I'm guessing that among the guys, there's no where even close to 25 or even 10% that stare out of sexual interest. An attractive face makes us all want to look a little longer. I DON'T think even many 100% straight guys walk down the street completely in their own world, noticing only the pretty female faces. (One of the few bad side effects of homosexuality becoming more openly acknowledged and talked about is that guys are now afraid of male bodies, afraid of noticing a good-looking guy, afraid of complementing another guy, etc. because they're afraid of gayness. And any sort of more-than-incidental gazing by another guy is perceived to be some kind of gay thing and a threat)

Isn't it kind of funny how humans want to stare at things they find attractive? It's not like you get any kind of gratification, or become any better-looking, by staring. Yet, you want to look.

Its called "eye candy".

Yeah, eyecandy, haha. I think there's also a cultural thing about same-sex staring, too. I know a lot of Europeans, Asians and Middle Easterners, and meet a lot of them in my social circles. Europeans, Asians and Middle Easterners seem to be a bit more free about their same-sex outchecking, and seem to be a bit more likely to come up to a guy and say something like "you're a very handsome guy. If you came to Croatia/Korea/Israel, you'd meet so many girls!" etc.

The next time i see a hot guy staring at me i am just going to go over to him and say

Are you staring at me because you find me attractive and want to make mad passionate love to me?

A straight man technically can only look at another man for 1 second. But if he does a double take then he likes what he saw the first time.

Haha, technically 1.000 seconds? That's the cutoff according to the official League rulebook? Why not 0.5000 seconds, or 1.5000 seconds? What matters is the intent behind the look. Sometimes, people just look a little longer at poeple that interest them for whatever reason; sometimes a person can be madly sexually attracted to someone else but keep himself in check, and not look at all.

I have a HORRIBLE habit of staring. I can't help it. The first thing that I look at on a cute guy passing me by in the mall, or standing in line somewhere, is his crotch! I've been told I'm obvious, even when I think I'm being subtle. When I see a guys chech bto see if his fly is open or something, then I know I've been to open. Oops!

Well this is actually what my technique is.

First I pick him up on radar, either close or far away. When I notice him I make a sweeping glance that includes other things in the area.

Now that I know he is there, I make my plans for a second (and better look). So its usually like turning and looking at a street sign or looking for a trash can or tying my shoe (still works!). During this second look I get to zero in on him really well, sometimes up close. ;)

If he's spectacular, I plan for a 3rd look. Here's where it can get a little risky because you're bordering on looking obvious. So I just pull out one of my academy award winning performances and come up with something that seems natural and fits the situation. I'm pretty good at this by now. :)

The only time I get in trouble is if he is a "10". I just can't let go of those guys! :( It kills me to walk away.

And by then they have usually noticed.

I've always wanted to say

"I've no idea but if you ever find out let me know" :p

"I was trying to figure out what that green, black, and yellow spidery-looking thing was that was crawling up on the inside of your thigh."
