omg they kind of stole that idea from 30 rock. last season they did a mock commercial saying don't vote... it was the second season episode 12 called subway hero. It's hard to explain the story

you bet your ass i'm voting

david tilson(the mp for this area) can rot for voting against gay marriage.
twice.

he may win but my voice is going to be heard

Because you are just far too sweet for such barbaric actions. ;)

no because i know the world is full of stupid people

and they don't understand the hurt some of us have when tragedy happens anywhere in world.

can't change that
can i

On the other hand, if you do vote but know nothing about the party's platforms or policies and are just doing it for the sake of voting, it isn't any better. Maybe even worse because you're doing it out of ignorance.

Remember to do your research on not only the party the interests you but on the other ones as well to make an INFORMED DECISION. It's my first year to vote (I'm 19 right now) and I honestly don't know how many other 19 year olds know enough about politics to make a decision, outside of who their parents are voting for, which is really annoying.

One of my friends is voting Conservative because they promise to focus on private school courses or something like that. When I brought up other issues, such as his view on gay marriage, she asked me, "Well, are you going to get married in the next four years?" Maybe not, but it doesn't affect just. Someone is going to run the lives of every citizen in the country, not just mine, and sure, you can be selfish when it comes to what you want, but if you're voting based on one thing, that's a pretty uniformed vote. (Btw, she's trans, and kind of surprised me with her answer)

My dad told me that if i didn't vote, then the communists will take over.

but I wouldn't go that far. not voting is a very communist thing to do though. and those who don't vote have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to complain about whoever takes over.

And if you're a communist, and proud of it, just put up an NDP sign in your window.

oh boy lets compare the NDP to communists now

now i want you to meet Ed Broadbent a man i would be proud to vote for......
and a leader of NDP a while back
