a website has been setup to show everyone (along with their companies) who donated to prop 8. it's breaks it down, state by state; county by county:

... i REALLY hope these guys were smart enough to host this data outside the united states (to prevent these dicks from keeping this data legally hidden).

Only 3 from Pennsylvania, and two of them are the same doctor.

send him a nice letter letting him know that you'll pray to jesus and god for him.

that always pisses them off. ;)

This is the Pennsylvanian jackass Templeton who donated:

Ugly, ain't he?

Here's his story.

Thank you, Jesus. No one from my state is listed and we are the buckle of the Bible belt.

Three from Florida, one donated $500 and the other two donated $100 each for a total of $700. Luckily they're nobody I've ever heard of who have a business I've never heard of. I don't think any of them are even in my county.

Could have been worse.

Same here. But people here are so dumb Prop. 8 must seem a distant and magical document heard of from lands far away. At least they're harmless.

I shouldn't say mean things, maybe people here are more understanding than I tend to ridicule them for.

that webite is disgusting, and so is this thread

we want acceptance and equality and we try to get that by targeting people who were strong enough in their beliefs to donate to a cause that they support and cause less buisness for them, especially right now with the economy at a bad level

thats just wrong, it's targeting people based off their beliefs, which is ignorance.

Anyone who supports this website doesn't want change.

Ha-ha...you're joking, right?

No I'm not.

Anyone who's okay with causing misfortune to someone due to their beliefs and what they support needs a reality check. Of course that applies to them even donating to the prop in the first place, but I commend them for having a strong enough belief in something to donate to a cause they support.

I'd want people to donate to a pro gay marriage cause without being in fear that people who don't support their beliefs will target them and cause buisness loss.

It's wrong if you think this is okay at all.

I don't agree...this is all public information, organized in a very helpful and easy to read format. We are free to take this information and adjust our behavior accordingly. I try to spend money at business which support our community, and when I find one that actively promotes second-class status for the GLBT community, I take my money elsewhere.

Currently, there's nothing I've yet seen at this site which would cause me to change anything I'm doing, but I'm grateful for whomever put this list together...as long as it's accurate.
Well, it's your choice if you want to slow down productivity. I blame hate spreading on you just as much as I do for prop 8 supporters.

You're hurting someone as much as they're hurting you. It might seem logical for you to get back at them by not buying from their company but thats a hateful choice on your part.

I support everyones right to a belief. I supported the passing of prop 8 not because of what it stood for, but because it was a practice in citizen based democracy, which is a good stepping stone for america.

Whatever.

I'm very strong in my beliefs too and will not spend money at these companies. They have the right to do what they did and I have the same right not to use them.

I support you for that, i don't support the site though.

If it was just an archive for people who donated towards the prop 8 fund then it would be acceptable that someone based an opinion off that.

But i find this website wrong because it's blatantly telling you to not buy from these companies, which is hateful and gets us nowhere.

I had hoped that you were only teasing. So you think that is wrong to stand up to someone who advocated bigotry and discrimination? You say this based on your assumptions that everyone has a right to believe what they choose? Even when those beliefs are used to oppress a minority by denying them their freedoms and their right to pursue happiness? We are not the ones who provoked this out-lash against us, if anything we tried to find middle ground with these narrow-minded supporters of hatred. How can you say you commend them when they are the ones who won't let others live as they choose? That's fine, let them believe what they want, but when their beliefs ends where my freedom begins than it will be just fine. However, to pursue action against a minority by stripping them of their basic rights is beyond call for peaceful demonstration. We are not fighting to take away their right to believe what they choose, they brought the fight to us when they did that to us. I can't believe you are here commending the one's who would leave you with no rights, so you can follow a path of non-violence. Haha. You better join the rest of us here in reality, it gets lonely real quick where you are.

We obviously see it differently so I'm not going to waste my time arguing. I already stated my opinion and I hope it sticks with anyone who wants to be proactive and stop the hate.

And either way, marriage isn't a right lmao

I blame you for not standing up for what is right, and letting hate have it's way. Have you no sense of right and wrong? Do you think that it was wrong when African-Americans staged boycotts so they could drink at a white man's fountain or sit at the front of the bus when the white's believed that it was right to segregate? If anyone is being illogical, it is you my friend by talking stupidity. You supported the passing of Prop. 8 because it was an example of citizen based democracy, huh? There are a lot of practices that were fine examples of citizen based democracy: slavery, suffrage, war, etc. Do those have a right to still exist because the majority would say that it is right? I have never met someone with your type of reasoning. I can't believe it.

We do see it differently. You are a person who would let a mob of men enter your house and rape your mother because they took a vote on it outside on your front doorstep. I'm going to waste my time arguing with you, because unlike you I fight for what I know is right. No, you're opinion won't stick with anyone who wants to be proactive, because being proactive is the only way to stop the hate, when you have the guts to stand up and fight for what you believe in. Being a lazy coward with backwards opinion never drew anyone into a cause, except the people you commend for their excellent demonstration of their democratic rights. No, marriage isn't a right. It's a religious institution bigoted American's can stick up their asses. Civil Union, however, is a right, because we are entitled to the freedoms and protections that is promised to us by an authority higher than that of your goddamn democracy.
