I don't know, personally dressing in drag isn't my thing, but I've known a few drag queens in my day, and they've all been awesome people. I really don't get why people get all wierded out by the different things that people do. Personally I'm fascinated by all the different sub cultures that are are around out there even if it's not something that I'd do or that isn't considered socially normal.

The Drag Queens of Stonewall gave the NYPD what for, and their actions won a lot of our current freedoms for us. I respect them for their courage and valor. They don't take shit from nobody. We all owe them oodles of respect, they are the interface between the gay world and the straight world. While they may be over the top, it's an act the straight world finds fascinating. I give them their due, no matter how gross and outrageous they are.
