It looks like its going to be another Mortal Kombat movie...

Ugh! I absofuckinglutely LOVE Dragonball but it's one of those anime/cartoons that just don't look good when turned into live action movies.
I'll watch it just because I love Dragonball but I'm expecting something lame, corny, disappointing, cringe worthy...did I mentioned lame?

Anyways...we'll see.

I don't expect anything even remotely good to come out of a live action Dragonball movie.

Sometimes, on occasion depending on the anime and what happens, it can work. I can't see that happening here.

Doesn't help that I pretty much had to be told which character was which when I watched that preview.

Bwaahahahahahhahah That looks so bad! I can't believe they made a movie out of that cartoon. The villains name is Piccolo! And I hate that actor who plays the lead. He's so boring in everything I've seen him in.

It is very strange that Goku is white. In the anime, even though he was an alien it seemed obvious to me that he was a humanoid Asian.

I to always thought that Goku was Asian, i'll probably end up seeing it because I also like Dragonball Z but I have to agree this doesn't look like it will be that good.

I didn't think Mortal Kombat was awful, the 2nd one was but the first was descent, especially the guy that played Rayden.

Okay, I'm a whore for crappy action movies with over-the-top special effects--so I practically creamed my pants watching this trailer. Oh, I'm gonna watch it, and I will love it, though I may hate myself later for it. But one big problem: where the hell is Krillin?

Wow. I had hoped they would go about this seriously. I know some people hate when movies take huge liberties like they did with the x-men films but this is what happens when you stay too close to the source material. It looks retarded. I still want there to be a Sailor Moon movie, though.

I think that, although it doesn't appear close to the source material, it appears so over-the-top that it could be seriously fun to go watch with friends. Especially if you can get a reasonably empty theater so you could really get into messing around with it...

At least that new DBZ Anime Movie, "The Return of Goku and His Friends" or something showed in japan a few months ago. So maybe funimation will dub that by the time this movie comes out so that way DBZ isn't completely killed.
