Dragonball live action movie

it looks good...only if you know nothing about Dragonball and you just went to see the film.

its basically like twilight...if you read the book the movie sucked to you.

Honestly, it doesn't look all that great, and I doubt it'll take me back to my happy days of running home after school to catch the new episode...but I'll give it a chance v.v

i was looking at some dragonball the other day for the first time in a while. of the many things I find appealing about it, most of it doesn't seem to me to be possible to translate to a live-action movie (the color scheme; the composition of the action within the aspect ratio of a TV screen).

I always think that anime characters look "european" rather than asian (and I've never understood why that is).

...and, after watching the trailer, I probably will definitely go see this movie.

If the Dragon Ball movie were to be true to the Dragon Ball series:

It would be a trilogy with each movie being 2 hours long

The first movie would mostly consist of Goku in the air staring down the Villain periodically trash talking as each of them power up repeatedly to flex their e-peens at each other.

The second movie would consist entirely of Goku getting his ass handed to him by the villain and after the two hours is up, it will end just before the credits with him going Super Saiyan and the villain freaking out.

The third movie would consist of 1 hour of Goku beating the crap out of the villain, and 1 hour focusing for the Spirit Bomb...

Used to like The "original" Dragon Ball series before Z. It looks like there going at the story differently which could be good, because what could you condense from it's War and Peace-length-like story; the only thing certain is that at least Goku is not wearing an awful wig.

BTW, on a side note, the Japanese have already turned sailor moon into a live action type- drama, which wasn't so bad storywise.

I always preferred YuYu Hakusho over DBZ.
Justin Cook=win; Toonami sucks.

I think the movie look stupid but I think Goku is suppose to be asian but the white dude is kinda cute, but the plot I seen look like Piccolo is the evil guy. I wish they woulda brought Freeza as the bad guy.

I loved this movie, it was a great cute family pic to bring my 12 year old nephew to, and I didn't mind looig at Goku the whole time, he was too old for the role but weirdly hot, OMG real hot, lol

If I could see this for free, I'd consider giving up the time to do so. But honestly, I've only heard I think one person say they liked it, and that is right here. Outside that, the best rating I've seen is 3 of 10 stars. Thats including 5 star ratings I've seen where it might get 1 star.

I said this was a bad idea from the beginning. I'll stick to the anime and manga.
