Drive

I basically had to watch it (I was bombarded by numerous commercials months in advance). It was better than I expected, we'll see how it fares.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I wouldn't say I'm hooked. But I will try to keep watching for the cute Hispanic brothers :p. Does anyone know what will be it's regular scheduled time.

They are cute! The show is scheduled for Mondays at 8PM.
 
I'm totally addicted now. Loved how crazy lady with the plastic baby was like "... I should've shot you." funniest thing ever!
 
CTV here ran it last Friday night and we really liked it. So we have the choice of watching the next epi tonight at 8 on FOX or waiting til Friday on CTV.
 
Who saw it tonight. This and Heroes, when it gets back, will be one awesome night of TV. It's very cool so far and I like many characters, specifically the Salazars. After tonight Alex and Sean officially kick-ass.
 
We're still watching and you're right - with Heroes back next week Monday is gonna get good again.

Problem - FOX will probably move this show to a shitty timeslot where the ratings will kill it, debuting it on a Sunday night when people expect to find Simpsons/Family Guy etc and they never do better than 4th in the ratings doesn't tell me that the network is behind this show. House initially got visibility by following Idol, this show deserves the same chance.
 
I think Drive is EXCELLENT, I hope it gets better ratings because it really doesn't need to be canceled.
 
After looking over the ratings.. and the ratings of Prison Break in the SAME timeslot. This show will be canceled. Horrible, horrible ratings.

If FOX has faith in this show.. they will move it to Tuesday, so that it has a Idol lead in.. to see if audiences catch on. If not.. I give it 3 weeks before its gone. Because the ratings are NOT going to improve at all. Also in its debut.. in the ratings breakdown, they lost viewers every single quarter. The ratings never increased.

If FOX really wanted this show to succeed they would have debuted after Idol.. because new shows on FOX don't survive unless they have an Idol lead in. House didn't catch on until it aired after Idol.

So this is where Rose wound up at, after leaving Two and a Half Men. I was so pissed when that happened, she was frickin hilarious on that show.

I think of all the netwroks, FOX is the one that cancels the most shows. A lot are crap to begin with but lately they seem to be cancelling shows people actually like (Arrested Development comes to mind)

I really hope they don't cancel this because this is a really fun, high energy show and there's honestly nothing like it on tv right now.
 
So who saw yesterdays ep. I was right, it does make a great night of TV with Heroes. I'm surprised they killed someone who I thought would be a main character off so soon, and Sean was shot :cry:, but will most likely survive ;). I must say I'm liking this show more than I thought I would.

Saw it loved it of course. I'm so in love with this show, it's crazy.

Anyway, I wasn't surprised with who died. They weren't in the opening credits and the persons partner not only is in the opening credits but is partnered with someone else so that was a dead giveaway.

The crash scene was a mixture of supreme cheesiness with a cool factor all in one. It was cool to see the camera going in and out of the car but it had a feeling of low budget slapped all over it, lol.

I found it funny that guy stopped for Leigh in the middle of the night coming from the forest even though she was all bloodied up. I guess the hot people really do get everything they want in life :)

You're right, Drive and Heroes FTW. Is it Monday again yet, lol?
 
i like this show a lot too. a lot of it is unbelievable just like prison break, but i think its fun and exciting. its a cool concept of a cross country race and they basically have them do anything. i like all the characters except the woman with the baby. i wasn't surprised who died either for the same reason. but i wonder if that means leigh and ivy will hook up again. i like them together anyway. the babymama needsto be alone with her crazy. also did anyone notice the girl who is with her dad who has some sort of secret disease. he is not in the opening credits either....
