Celine Dion's 10th English-language studio album and first in three years showcases an artist eager to escape all preconceptions. Thats Just really an Exageration, i mean, Madonna and Celine are really neck and neck in sales, so its really impossible to accuratley tell who has sold more, i think it would come between only 10 or 15 million sales difference, but in the end Celine is Cheesy and Over the top, and Madonna is Queen!

except Mariah isn't a sweet young thing anymore herself.

She's now starting to look like one of those soccer moms in stretch pants and the younger generation isn't really going to be interested in buying records by someone old enough to be their mom. Someone that their mom listened to back in the day.

Janet was politely shown the door when she got too long in the tooth to be flashing her boobs and Mariah isn't far behind.

I've got one Nana CD, a couple Celine singles, several Mariah singles (I was collecting every US #1 single for many years - never bought one for any other reason), and several Madonna albums. FWIW.

Madonna - 200 Million
Celine Dion - 175 Million
Whitney Houston - 170 Million

Sorry Danno...no detail on how many Mariah sold. But it says she is the #1 female singer of all time, breaking Elvis' records.

Wait, according to this wikipedia site, Celine has sold more.

And Sony BMG said that Celine has sold over 200 million. Besides, it's too hard to tell. The RIAA really does not have complete record sales.

I'm not so sure. She's only at abut 40 million. And albums nowadays very rarely sell 10 million plus anymore. But she is just as good as they are (and in Madonna's case, better).
