Seriously well done if it's helping you give up smoking but as far as i can see a lot of people have just went from one to the other and aren't interested in weaning themselves off it.

I wouldn't mind if they didn't smoke it right in front of you and then scream it does you know harm when you complain, yes it does, being bombarded with every synthetic flavour under the sun in a trail of vapor gives me a fucking headache, pack it in or keep it for when you get home.

Do you use one ?

Never smoked and sure as hell not using one of those damn things.
 
I hate smoke and I don't give a damn whether it comes from an old-school cigarette, an electronic one, a car exhaust, a nuclear power plant or a chocolate factory.

I think a lot have swapped because it is considerably cheaper than tobacco

The harm thing is entirely dependent on what concentrate you use. Any with nicotine in are just as harmful as Lite Cigarettes
 
I am fine with it.

It is a lot less harmful and unpleasant than tobacco smoke. If it keeps people from smoking, great.
 
I am with RB on this, also, you don't have cigarette butts laying everywhere.
 
I understand non-smokers, especially the young, have started smoking e-cigs because it's cool. :(
 
Everyone seems to think their own shit don't stink - they're wrong.

I don't have much experience/exposure in regards to these vape things, but they can't be any worse than the stench of cologne, fabric softener, laundry soap, cheap shoes, polyester, BO, air 'fresheners', cleaning products, hair tonic, hand lotion, etc etc etc etc etc etc

Boozers always reek up a room. Beer drinkers have that constant/lingering foul odor of brewer's yeast coming from their sweat.

Someone wearing cologne is every bit as obnoxious as a kid driving around with loud music.

That's city life - do you love it or not?
 
The store where I work had to change the no smoking door stickers to very clearly say: No E Cigs. We had people standing in line at the checkouts smoking those things.
 
^ Peterborough has banned smoking on outdoor public patios and has recently banned the E-Cigs as well. There is no smoking of either in any public building in the city, and that included bars, restaurants, the hospital, clinics, and so on.
 
I wish that we could ban 'smart' phone use while walking. Having fools walk into you is no fun.
 
^ It's called 'distracted pedestrians'. We have a by-law prohibiting it whilst crossing streets, but people still do it. It's not so bad when they are just talking on the phone, but when they're texting or doing Emails, their attention is completely on the screen.

As for E-cigs, do they follow the same regulations as regular tobacco products?
 
One of my friends was a heavy, heavy smoker.

His GF got him to switch over to e-cigs and it is hilarious to watch him all jumped up on whatever the fuck is in them but not holding a cig in his hand.

It has to be better for his lungs than smoking though.
