I am having a great weekend. I very much enjoyed my episodes of Days yesterday. Today I am enjoying some WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment) from 2006.

Actually, I think it was a WWE or WWF event, whatever the configuration was at the time. The younger guy I was dating got tickets for the event. I was living in Tampa at the time, and we made the 30 mile trip out to the Lakeland arena. Of course the wrestlers did their posturing, etc. In this one match this one wrestler, was acting like he wasn't going to fight, while the other wrestler goaded him on. Then the first wrestler ripped off his shirt, to the cheers of 9,000 Polk County (central Florida) rednecks. I was amused at the homoerotic implications of macho guys cheering a man ripping off his shirt.

Home wise everything is going well. Work wise yesterday started horribly-got soaked trying to clean the fryer filter machine parts, I also had to do stuff the weekend shifts should have already done before I got to start on my stuff for Monday.

I hope everything is going well for you. It sounds like you work in the fast food industry, which seems like a difficult job. Hope things are going better for you there.

You are right, I work at a Popeyes. While some things are getting better, other things are getting worse. Hopefully soon they will be getting way better though.

Other than work, things are good. Just wish it wasn't so hot where I live, couldn't sleep very well last night because of the heat. I don't have an air conditioner in my room because a window unit would draw too much power and inside the air conditioner I had connected in my bedroom bathroom is unusable because the power to that bathroom went out last July or August.

I bought some full body ice packs which help, but have to be changed out in the middle of the night.

Oh wow, you have no air conditioning where you live, and have trouble sleeping? One suggestion is to get a box fan and sleep in front of it. I've done that when I didn't have AC. Plus, I like the droning of the fan motor, it helps put me to sleep. And I hope you can open your windows for good ventilation, that helps.

I don't eat there often, but I do like Popeye's spicy chicken.

I do sleep in front of a fan, however I can't open my window because there is an AC window unit foamed into it. Since we don't own the place I can't do anything to get it out of the window. We can't use it because it would knock out the power to all three bedrooms as well as to our neighbors. But using the ice packs helps.

I actually don't eat much that we do serve at Popeyes.
