Tuesday I returned to work and I ended up burning the crap outta my feet with burning hot oil while trying to clean/filter the fryers. Though yesterday and today have been better, glad I'll be off on Saturday.

At times yes it can be a dangerous place to work, however soon we'll have some more help doing the fryers instead of just me hopefully.

I am doing well and have been enjoying my day off, I didn't have enough time to watch all the Halloween movies I like to watch every Halloween so I finished watching them today.

Wow, you had a pipe burst at work and no water? Hmm, next thing you're gonna tell me the place is being held together with bowstring and duct tape.

So you hit a deer? I remember being in Georgia on a road at night quite a few years ago, when I was with my ex and members of his family. They were swarming all over that road. The driver was going 30 mph, and the deer would dash out right in front of us with no warning.

Thankfully it isn't yet being held together like that. I was told that they have found someone to come do the roof, contracts signed and all that. They just don't know when they'll be able to make it out to actually do the work.

The deer here in Georgia are crazy, I remember one time I was on my way to work and a deer stopped and lay down in the middle of the road, just sitting there.

Unfortunately yesterday many things were going wrong. Two of the fryers weren't heating up, I'm not sure what specifically. The steam table wasn't staying on and neither was the bun toaster. But the maintenance people were there to fix another thing when all of that was going on.

Got my fryers back working, though still needing new parts. Got the steam table and the toaster back working as well as the thing they were originally there to fix.

We've also been having issues with the drive-thru sensor for over a week, but today it didn't seem to be messed up anymore.
