I've searched in vain for a couple years now for Leo Ford: The Making of a Super Star. Has anyone ever seen it?

I was born in '83, so, obviously I missed out on the best part of the 80s.

I write bios and tributes about gay porn stars and models (1970-2000) for a Yahoo group I'm a co-moderator of, and having an extensive archive and information on over 2000 individuals (and adding to daily), I looked up “Leo Ford: The Making of a Superstar” … and, although this may not be helpful, it does not appear to be a feature film ... but solo performances as part of a “compilation” type, released in 1992. Included in the credits are Jamie Wingo and Rick Donovan.
One of the major problems in location such a title that is included in a compilation is that it can reappear under various names. As far as I can see there are no other known names, with this title being distributed by Ford Entertainment.
For Leo, when at the top of his career before his death, I would suggest “Blondes Do It Best.”

The picture you posted is from "Buster and Bill" (sometimes "Buster and Billy"), which can be seen on the out-of-print "Buster the Best Years" video. The film was done in 1976 according to the Gay Erotic Video Index. That would have been the year in which Buster turned 20. I'm not sure how that syncs up with his time in the Marine Corps, though, since he would have probably still been in the Corps at that time; hence, the film might have been done closer to 1980 or so.

I recommend checking out Ebay, where there often is a used copy for sale for under $25.

Buster is one of my all-time favorites, and it's sad that so much of his stuff is out of print.
