Seriously, between high school, college, gyms, beaches, gyms, adult bookstores, and just other places cruising around southern California, I could write at length about the things I saw and did, but as much fun as that would be, it would be taking this thread way off topic. As hard as it would seem to imagine by today's fashion standards, guys did dress like that in the 80's though, especially the half-shirts. They actually originally came from the football crowd, but all of us jocks wore them, with shorts, jeans, and sweats. The shorts were popular with both guys and girls. A great look, and great memories...

While my stupid, straight brother was lucky enough to really live 1973-1983, I alas didn't come of age until the bitter end, when the hair was getting shorter, the pants were getting longer, the cuffs were getting smaller... and GRID/AIDS was just starting to make the news and scare the fuck out of us.
