I have lots from this series. I didn't know the name of the video.
^ I think, with the new laws requiring 'proof of age' for all the models (which, of course, is not available in vintage porn), it's available now only via websites not under the jurisdiction of the laws. Hence, it's a lot more difficult to locate.
Anyone remember an Eighties porn actor named Matt Forrest. He was in dozens of films, but never became a "star" like Jack Wrangler or Al Parker. He had a wholesome "boy-next-door" look about him. I never found out what happened to him, but would love to know.
I have pics from both of those as well, including the entire 'Huge 1' magazine. I haven't scanned it, though.

I went away for a few days and came back to see this thread had taken off. I had such a great time plowing through all the pics and links you guys have posted. Luv the pics- but also luv the sharing of memories. I saw most of these images back in the first couple of years that I 'looked' old enough to buy mags at Adult Book stores in late '81.
I actually bought an issue of Mandate from a legit magazine shop in the summer first. I don't remember the cover model but one of the models featured inside was black and one spread featured a dude on the roof of a house I believe.
I'm still searching for the imagery from the first hardcore mag that I picked up in an Adult Book store. I've been searching for it online for over 10 years to no avail. It's my holy grail of gay porn. The problem is my memory is a bit hazy. I'm pretty sure it was from Higgins & Nova- One of the models may have been Jon King, the other model looked like a stoner and he had a bandanna doo-rag style on his head. I think he may be wearing an army green coat early in the spread. At one point in the layout they are on and around a weightlifting bench. It's possible that there were two or three different featured pictorials and I'm mixing the actors together due to faulty memory.
I'd also love to see imagery from another hardcore mag at the time that featured Jeremy Scott in a hot tub with another dude. If any of these descriptions ring a bell for anyone- please fill in the details for me.

I forgot to mention a couple other early mags full of imagery that have stuck with me. An issue of STARS magazine from '82 I believe that featured a boy in a shower on the cover who turned out to be unbelievably sexy as the centerfold model This was the first guy I actually fell in love with.

Yeah...I used to go to his shop in West Hollywood every once in a while. He did some beautiful work. It was an incredibly bitter twist of fate that when he started to get really sick (AIDS) he went blind.
I have a whole stack of STARS and STROKE mags saved carefully in a box. I figure that they'll be worth money someday. They are not my originals (those wore out long ago when I was a horny young man).
A few years ago, Outlandish, Rochester's best gay store, had acquired a private collection of gay porn, and these mags were in pristine condition. I bought them up. I also bought a bunch of various picture magazines from the 70's and 80's. Some are Nova, Higgins, and smaller companies that are now long gone.
Eventually, I might even scan some of them ,so long as nobody sues me for copyright infringement.
