Yeah, just barely... The 1981 PCH wasn't all sync-sound, but that scene seems to be.

AS for the Grease Monkeys, I have an original VHS but it's in storage... However, I have a (pretty bad) mpg clip of the Noll/Bravos disco scene, and that one seems to be sync-sound as well. The scary part is that Kip almost sounds like Jeff Stryker (Arghh!)

You're absolutely right! I'll bet someone at Jaguar was pissed off at Higgins about that, because it was Venice (1979) that copied Monkeys (1977)... They are so similar that my brain made the connection, but I didn't even realize it as I typed "Noll/Bravos" above, which of course is the Venice scene.

As for Kip, perhaps he found Lee's cheesy moustache as offputting as I do... #-o

Speaking of Higgins:
With your apparent background, have you ever seen a tape or film called either Moving Day or Movin' In? It starred Kyle Saunders/Scott Sedgewick and Brett Chandler/Mick Hunter. I bought a color magazine of it in the early 80's, but have NEVER been able to find even a clip of the loop that it came out of...
