Higgins made so many classics, it's hard to list them all. Some of his standouts: "The Boys of Venice" (1979), "Brothers Should Do It" (1981), "Pacific Coast Highway" (1981), "Cousins" (1983), "Sailor in the Wild" (1983), "Leo and Lance" (1983) - one of the most expensive porn films ever made, "Class Reunion" (1983), "Frat House Memories" (1984), "French Lieutenant's Boys" (1984), "The Young and the Hung" (1985). All of these were shot on film as opposed to video and were made for Laguna Pacific which in the mid 80's became Catalina Video. He went on to make "Big Guns" and countless other videos. He left Catalina in the mid 90's. The work he shot from '79 to '85 will always be my favorite. He captured the fleeting end of the golden era of gay porn - beautiful guys, gorgeous settings, carefree sex...Video is fine, but it just doesn't have the atmosphere of the old classics.

I will definitely check into more of his films. I have seen a few, and will do more!
