Yep, Brian Thompson and Tex Anthony were VERY good at their jobs. They not only knew how to hang, but they looked and sounded like the oh-so-desirable "straight guys" that we all were gooey for... unlike, say, the beautiful but not really believable Kevin Wiles & David Ashfield.

Did anyone have any personal experiences with Leo Ford? Years before his death he had a very active promotion system and he actually came to an adult bookstore in Charlotte, N.C. I got to meet him when he was promoting Leo and Lance. I bought the William Higgins Photobook and got Leo to autograph it in several places. There wasn't too much traffic to meet him that night and I got to talk with him for quite some time. I will never forget how nice he was to me. I wish there were opportunities for other stars to visit gay places through out the Country. The folks in NYC, LA and San Francisco don't know how lucky they are.

The other day, I stumbled across a DVD of William Higgins' "Spring Semester" on the reduction rack of the local gay theme store. What a find! Many of my classic Higgins favorites, Tex Anthony, Grant Fagan, Michael Gere and Mark Scott Solo were in it. It was so hot to see again! And it was a bargain too!
 
Was just kind of rummaging through these old files and came across this pic of Tom Lee. Just finished reviewing this fantastic thread again (after posting#1786 above) and just want to say how exciting it is to view these pages occasionally. The scene is #3 from a vid called "Don't Kiss Me, I'm Straight". Stars Chad Knight among others. The bottom here is Karl Thomas, the top is (I think) Tony Raz. If memory serves, they were lovers back then. They also did a scene in "Texas Tales" where Thomas bottoms for Raz again, outside, supposedly in Texas (Rick Perry would NOT approve) though maybe....

In Texas Tales (1989) Thomas is known as Adrian Jackson.
