early vs. late puberty

I remember that everything worked properly a good few months before my 13th birthday; but I don't remember when the hair started growing down there.

I did start shaving regularly at 15 (although I still only do it once a week even now), and I got a few rudimentary chest hairs in my mid-20s.

Growth spurt - not sure. I was always tall.

Very late bloomer here.

I think that the kids who "had it all" early are also the first ones to age and look it.

Just the way it is.

You know, when I was a measly 12-13 years old, I was in a junior high basketball team that had to shower together. I was still a "little" boy and all these corn-fed farm boys that were in the locker room with me were "full grown" and hung like porn stars.

It's only very recently that I got over that trauma.....
 
I guess I was kinda early...I hit puberty when I was about 11. Thats' when I noticed I was starting to get pubes, which I didn't see on any other of the guys my age in the locker room after swimming class. Not long after that I started getting underarm hair,and when I was 12 is when my voice started to change. At 13 I was shaving once a week,which became every other day by 16.
 
I hadn't realized that I was early but when I changed schools several of the guys commented the first day in gym how hairy my legs were. I hadn't noticed but everyone else was smooth.

Actually I was so self conscious about it that I didn't get a chance to enjoy the fact that I was early in the game. Another thing I regret.

That's a weird question. It's only on once a year, and I used to play. It is possible to watch twelve-year old boys play sports without perving over them, if that's where you were going. On a different note, something LarsVenice said reminded me that when I got my first pubes, I was actually pretty sad. I didn't want to grow up yet.
 
My pubes grew in when I was between 5th-6th grade. Kind of embarassing in the locker room--having hair and being bigger than they were down there. But I did have one friend who really appreciated them. The rest of me--to this day-- is still pretty smooth! I was told by a 13 year old the other day at the beach that he had more hair under his arms than I did! Boy was I embarassed--because it was true!!LOL On the up side--people always think I am 10-15 years younger than I am!!

People usually get my age right. I wish I looked younger.
 
I had it very early. I remember being concerned about showering in 5th grade because I was so hairy down there, I even shaved my pubes a little.
 
I didn't get puberty until the 'late' age of 14, which I now know is normal. When I was 12 we started taking showers at school. The development was all over the place in the same grade. I was a little kid down there and there were guys with (what looked like to me anyway) full bushes.
I was somewhat embarrassed, but what can you do? You pretty much have to get over it when you're gonna shower with 30 boys everyday.
