Everyone's cum tastes different - mine tastes sweet, and I don't know why, since I avoid sweet food. The taste is definitely affected by what you eat. This usually works for me too when I want to eat the actual load of cum. Sometimes I can just jerk off and catch it in my hand and eat it but sometimes I also lose interest after I have finished cumming.
 
I dunno, I've tasted my cum and I sorta like it, but I get the same feeling of grossness or whatever right after I finish cumming.
