ebay phone does NOT work ?

You have to file a dispute with paypal.. ive done this numerous times. State the issue and say the seller needs to send you a prepaid shipping label.. REGARDLESS of what they tell you! This only applies when a mistake is made of the seller such as the phone being faulty! If you are just plain unhappy.. you are responsible!

If paypal doesn't give you an option after you've escalated it to a claim... make sure you call them on the phone and ask for an agent... because online it will just say return the item for full refund and wont give you another option leaving you in the dust. YOU MUST CALL and say you are not going to pay for a mistake of the SELLER. The seller needs to pay for your shipping. If this is the case. the seller will lose the product AND your money OR... Paypal puts the money into your paypal account to reimburse you for the shipping.

false alarm,
the phone works now. :)

No one tell me to press the "phone down" button long enough to turn the phone on or off.
No instruction menu.

If you go to google, you can probably find an instruction manual for your phone.

i did google and no, no instruction manual.

New problem,
how do i transfer all the contacts to the new phone.
It would take so much work to type each name & numbers to the new phone.

The same sim card doesn't seem to keep the contacts.

Is there a way to transfer all contacts in one go?

Many phones have a function that allows you to copy Contacts from the phone memory to the SIM card. A GSM SIM card like this phone takes can only store 100 contacts, so you sometimes have to do it in several passes.

To be brutally honest, the phone you've bought is a pretty cheap generic Chinese thing - it's software is probably not very well written or easy to use. I may be wrong, but it has been my experience in the past. It's usually true that you get what you pay for! :-) Based on the product description on eBay, the lack of a brand name, and the lack of instructions ... I wish you luck!

Note the following Chinglish that the seller provides about satisfaction and returns:

* Customer satisfactory is most important to us. If you have a problem or question regarding your transaction please contact us before leaving any type of feedback and give us the opportunity to reasonably rectify in a reasonable amount of time, whatever your concern may be. Negative feedback does not solve anything. We are always willing to work things out. If we don't know about it, we cant fix it.

Note what the seller says about satisfaction and returns:

 ... yes, it was a cheap phone.
i'm abit disappointed. I thought it was a mini computer phone LOL

^ Yeah, with no wi-fi, no 3G and "2 Games!", it sure ain't no iPhone! :-(

But note the return policy - you can return it and they will refund total costs, including their shipping fee. (If you trust them to...) But you will have to pay return postage. If you paid 50 bucks or so, it may not be worth the trouble and postage cost.
