Ebola has reached Texas

Watching the latenight local news tonight was interesting.

One station had a live sit-down interview with the county judge. The judge was like, "Well, we're doing everything we can, blah, blah, blah..." The news anchor just laid into him... "Judge, you know there's a huge level of mistrust, right?"

Judge still spinning, and the news anchor is still like, "But you know that, right, that the public really doesn't trust anything you guys are saying?"

You could visibly see the smoke coming out of the judge's ears.

Now, word on the street is that the guy was around family members who happen to be little kids, and now there's worry and concern that those little kids went to school, interacting with other kids, and potentially spreading this catastrophically deadly virus.

New Developments... This thing just keeps getting better and better...

The news says the man was exposed when he carried a pregnant woman who was ill with ebola to the hospital after the ambulance he called refused to transport her and then carried her back home when the hospital refused to admit her. He had to lie about possible exposure to leave the country and Liberian authorities say they may prosecute him - if he survives. Smart guy.
