Here is an excellent discussion of Obamacare by Robert Samuelson, a respected economist in the the Washington Post.Robert Samuelson: The folly of Obamacare - The Washington Post
Note in particular the following:"(2) The ACA discourages job creation by raising the price of hiring. This is basic economics. If you increase the price of labor, companies will buy less of it. Requiring employers to buy health insurance for some workers makes them more expensive, at least in the short run."

Then harken back to the thread Why Jobs are Sent Overseas, and the long list of burdens imposed on employers in this country.

Where was Mr. Samuelson when "Romneycare" was being implemented?

So where's Benvolio saying something like "oops, my mistake"? Oh yeah - he doesn't do that. He runs away like a little girl when it becomes uncomfortable for him.

Btw, this is BAITING, just so nobody is wondering. I can do that cause he's "ignoring" me, so he won't get baited.

He's confusing him with the late Paul Samuelson, who won a Nobel Prize for economics.

I love me some PAUL Samuelson. A quick google search on Robert Samuelson shows he is just a two-bit hack. He has a degree in government. This goes right back to my comment that lawyers are horrible at math and know nothing about economics.

Who in the hell is Robert Samuelson? Economist? He's an economist like "Dr." Laura is an MD. You must really think the posters here are stupid. I beg to differ.
