Nazz Ed likes Nazz the smart, sexy, one out ofthe bunch she wants to become a model, Sometime Kevin plays with her but,Ed awlays gets jelouls of Kevin because it seems like Nazz likes the so called handsome guy. And The Knaker sister....They are three homely girls who lives in a trailor court who loves the Edd boys......

We will miss you E D Boys.... But there on DVD.

Thank fucking god. Here's hoping it never rears its ugly head again.

I have to say, I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me to the point of indifference. I neither liked it, nor disliked it. However, as they're gonna stop producing it, I say, to rephrase that catchphrase after Bugs Bunny.... that's it folks.

I love Edd Ed n Eddy, sad to see it go :(

I've yet to see all the new episodes, though :P

I had no idea they were still making new episodes of that.

JY star they have Powerpuff Girls z in Japan, which sucks IMO. The original was and still is the best.

I liked Powerpuff and Dexter as well.;) Courage and the early episodes of Johnny Bravo were great too. As for Ed Edd and Eddie, I cant believe that show lasted as long as it did because it was stupid.

My personal favorites were:

Original Dexter's Lab (the application of his new style on DL really sucked hard. The original's artwork had a colorful edge.)

Original Powerpuff Girls

and Courage the Cowardly Dog. I thought the idea of these mini-humorous horror/sci-fi tales was odd and different.

Our generation (1980's to mid 90's) had the best cartoons. I feel sorry for the kids these days. Has anyone actually tried to watch the crap they have out now? I can't stand any of it.

Well, I happen to love Fairly Oddparents because it's riddled with more mature humor that passes over the heads of its younger viewers. Spongebob is great. Oh and Xiaolin Showdown.

The styles are different, but I also think the quality has significantly improved since the 80's and 90's. I loved the old X-Men cartoon, but the animation was really shoddy. Voltron, Chuck Norris, WTYFGH, The Gary Coleman Show?

I too will be glad to see it go. My nephew turns that freaking mess on when he's here for a visit and I can't stand it.

Kinda like Rocko's Modern Life and Ren and Stimpy.;) Invader Zim was pretty good but got canceled.

Rocko and Ren were far wilder than anything on Fairly Oddparents and Spongebob (who I'll admit is a fav of mine).

I miss too many shows to name but I think if I were a kid now with these shows, I wouldn't miss very many.

Certainly they were wilder and grosser than the new stuff, but I think it's different. Ren and Stimpy and Rocko took it to that gross level and butt jokes and shots that wereprobably not right for kids because it was so adult.

But Fairly Oddparents aknowledges the insanity and cliches sometimes apparent in its own premise and humor as well as throwing in the occassional political satire.

I liked Ed, Edd and Eddie. There was a certain nostalgic charm to a cartoon which focuses around a neighborhood group of kids. I thought the creators did a good job in giving each character distinct attributes.

Of course it was obnoxious but isn’t that the nature of most cartoons. It is a medium that is constantly being reviewed, revised and overhauled to accommodate the absurd and surreal. Yes it is true that the jokes do not appeal to everyone, no one cartoon does that.
.
I give the creators credit for making a cartoon series in the first place. I haven’t made a cartoon myself but I can only imagine the work that goes into it.

I must admit that I am a fan of most of the cartoons mentioned on this thread. After watching the news I need something to offset some of the day to day reality.

I fully agree with you on this point. I believe the thing that bothers me the most about current cartoons is how much they embrace stupidity. I come away from a lot of cartoons today feeling worse off for having viewed it, rather than like I enjoyed my time.

I guess this means I watch too many cartoons huh, lol?
