And please define food grade. Is it like those stickers they put on produce? That's not food grade. It's plastic, ink and glue. When you use organic ingredients to create sometning that doesn't exist in nature, it's no longer organic.
And define safe. Is it like those chemical additives in food that are safe to consume per serving but become carcinogenic when eaten en masse over the course of a lifetime?

small strip of a nori wrap lightly moistened w/ a little water and cornstarch will do the same thing
The only issue with Nori wrap is it has a very distinctive odor and taste. Somewhat aquatic, reminding people of fish.
