What a nice discovery to see this link posted. She was such an incredible performer and her greatest songs will remain uniquely hers no matter who covers them.

Thank you for that wonderful thread, Greaves. What a great way to end the evening. I have several of her CDs and one CD by Mireille Mathieu (Mireille Mathieu Chante Piaf) that I like as much as those where Edith sings herself.

Thanks for that. There is a commercial running here now which uses 'Je ne regrette rien' as a theme which reminded me how much I used to enjoy that tune. I decided to make a thread about it. I didn't know about this one. (I think my remembrall needs a spell boost. )
