Maybe if there were as many activist Muslims promoting peace as there were those cutting the heads off wives, killing gays, strapping bombs to kids, and burning people alive people would be less inclined to post stories like this. I mean, hey.

Count up all the people muslims have killed in those colourful ways you have described. Now count up all the people that christians have killed in a myriad of other ways. I mean, hey.

Well, if I ever had my BF, I can kind of imagine my Brother or Father wanting to do the same thing. Erm, actually, they already have threatened to kill any guy that touches me, and dating people who they dont know = me dead.

Family honour and values in both Hindu and Muslim culture is vastly different to what most people here are aware of, even for straight people, in a lot of families it is a case of 'touch my younger sibling and be burnt or stabbed to death' kind of attitude.

But hey, dont bother listening to me. Im just a racist person for pointing out the flaws and problems that some backward followers of these religions have.

i think in poor countries people tends to take laws in their own hands like acid attacks, knife attacks, burning, bashing ...etc no matter what religions they are.

Example: in Cambodia (buddist country) acid attacks .... etc.

Well, I have never met a Muslim peace activist, but I have met many Muslim extremists that hate gays and non - believers.

Oh, well if YOU haven't met them, they must not exist. If you did meet them, you'd probably just accuse them of being undercover extremists anyway.
