Eid Mubarak = happy celebration
and it's the Ramadan's end celebration
after 30 day of fasting

u must live a under a rock lol

^ This is why people do not trust moslems. We keep hearing we should "educate ourselves" but then I when I ask a question I get a smart ass, insulting, demeaning answer. I asked on this forum once since moslems do consider Jesus to be a prophet if the they celebrated Christmas. I got a the same kind of smart ass answers and it even provoked anger in some respondents to my complete confusion.

You could have taken this opportunity to explain the meaning and importance of this event and helped to inform and educate non-moslems but you choose to just give a smart ass answer.

I promise not to ask any more questions about Islam.

Zackar and everybody, Eid must be celebrated differently depending on your location.

What is Eid like where you live? Are you with family and friends or out in public? How do you mark the occasion?

(I've never actually been in a Muslim community for Eid, but have enjoyed nighttime Ramadan feasting, super good.)

What is the one thing you think of most, when you think of Eid? :D

Not so sure it's so much a reason to not trust Muslims as bollywoodboy.
I have been out from under my rock for sometime and I had no idea what Eid Mubarak was. Maybe Hosni's brother?

well at least i know how the eid likes in morocco
you went to the mosque for the eid prayer nearly at 7 am and you came back at 9
in the day you got you breakfest and dinner and you get the traditionel clothes or just new clothes
and during the day you go seeing your entire family or staying at home waiting for your uncles freinds visit
and muslim men can finally jerk off and make some nudity *|*

I heard of this YESTERDAY at the gas station - where I hear all things Muslim. The clerk there is the nicest man in the whole world !! working hard for his son to attend Boston College. He is actually Bangla - and difficult to understand at best --
He asks me questions about the Constitution (for his citizenship exam) and he explans Bangla and or Muslim customs to me --
He said that they will gather to pray in the little strip mall where they have a place - rather than outside - because it is "safer" Not everyone in my town is Muslim friendly.

YesterdayI learned that the man who wrote the Bill of Rights was a "very smart man" !!! <<<<his words.

toldya he was brilliant !!

Thanks, LilBit, and Sh'na Tova! even if it's a little late.
Yom Kippur hasn't arrived, so it's not too late to wish each other Shana tovah. May you be inscribed for blessing in the Book of Life! :~D

And Eid mubarak to all of the Muslims on JUB!
