I prefer mail-in over most of the booths I've been in. What I'd really like is to vote on a computer screen, then get a hard copy of my ballot to keep and one to turn in, so I can verify that what's on the screen is what I wanted.

Only once did I vote with a punch machine -- after which I understood perfectly all the mess that went on in Florida; the silly things are, well, cantankerous, sloppy, and undependable.
